Magnificent Mountains
Having grown up in Florida, I experienced mountains and snow for the first time in the sixth grade having moved to New England. I spent a year abroad on the edge of the Austrian Alps during my third year of college. I was instantly captivated by the magnitude and power of being in the high Alps and the lifestyle I saw people living in the shadow of high peaks....after finishing my degree in photography and another year and a half living in Salzburg, I moved to the Colorado high country in 1986. My appreciation for the high country has never waned and I am uplifted every day living in the heart of the Rockies.
